Remarks

The Reports Module comprises three assemblies:

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports.v19.2.dll

Contains base classes and services that are used by both the DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports.Win and DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports.Web assemblies.

This assembly represents a module, since it contains the ReportsModule class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class.

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports.Win.v19.2.dll

Contains classes that are required in Windows Forms applications only. This assembly represents a module, since it contains the ReportsWindowsFormsModule class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class.

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports.Web.v19.2.dll

Contains classes that are required in ASP.NET applications only.

This assembly represents a module, since it contains the ReportsAspNetModule class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class. When you drag and drop the ReportsAspNetModule from the Toolbox to the Application Designer's Modules section, the references to the DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports.Web and DevExpress.ExpressApp.Reports assemblies are added to the application project automatically.

The ReportsWindowsFormsModule class exposes properties whose values determine the behavior of the features supplied with the DevEpress.ExpressApp.Reports.Win assembly (see Reports Module in Windows Forms Applications). To set these properties, select the ReportsWindowsFormsModule component in the Application Designer's Modules section, and use the Properties window.
