The FileAttachmentController Controller is activated in List and Detail Views when the FileAttachmentAttribute is applied to the current View’s object type. The FileAttachmentAttribute.FileDataPropertyName parameter passed to the attribute specifies the IFileData type property that stores files to be downloaded by the FileAttachmentController‘s FileAttachmentController.DownloadAction:
To execute custom code when a file is downloaded, override the FileDataDownloader.DownloadCore method. For details, refer to the FileDataDownloader class description.
