XRControl.Visible Property
Gets or sets a value indicating whether or not the report control is displayed in a document.
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraReports.UI
Assembly: DevExpress.XtraReports.v20.2.dll
NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Reporting.Core, DevExpress.WindowsDesktop.Reporting.Core
Declaration
[DefaultValue(true)]
[SRCategory(ReportStringId.CatBehavior)]
[XRLocalizable(true)]
public virtual bool Visible { get; set; }
Property Value
Type | Default | Description |
---|---|---|
Boolean | true | true, if the control is displayed; otherwise, false. |
Remarks
When the Visible property is set to false, the document will contain an empty area corresponding to the control’s dimensions (irrespective of the XRControl.CanShrink property value). An exception is the XRSubreport control that becomes suppressed in a document when its CanShrink setting is enabled.
To precisely maintain the position and visibility of report elements in a document, consider creating reports programmatically.
