Codabar is a discrete, self-checking symbology used in blood banks, photo labs, and on FedEx air bills.

Add the Bar Code to a Report

1. Drag the XRBarCode item from the DX.23.2: Report Controls tab and drop it onto the report.

   

2. Set the XRBarCode control’s Symbology property to Codabar (an object of the CodabarGenerator type).

   

3. Specify common barcode properties and properties specific to Codabar.

Specific Properties

• StartSymbol

  Gets or sets the first (start) symbol used to code the barcode’s structure.

• StopSymbol

  Gets or sets the last (stop) symbol used to code the barcode’s structure.

• WideNarrowRatio

  Gets or sets the density of a barcode’s bars.
