---|---|
AppearanceObjectEx | An AppearanceObjectEx object that provides the appearance settings used to paint the row’s cells. |
Remarks
The appearance settings for all cells are specified by the VGridAppearanceCollection.RecordValue property. The Appearance property provides appearance settings for the cells of individual rows. For more information on appearances, see the Appearances topic.
Individual cells can also be custom painted using the VGridControlBase.CustomDrawRowValueCell event.
After a BaseRow object has been added to a control’s VGridControlBase.Rows collection, modifying the row’s appearance settings automatically enables the corresponding Use… options. In this instance, the appearance settings that have been set are automatically applied. When a BaseRow object is not added to a control’s VGridControlBase.Rows collection, modifying the row’s appearance settings doesn’t enable corresponding Use… options. These options must be set in code manually.
