Remarks

The appearance settings of all the totals in a Pivot Grid Control are specified by the PivotGridAppearancesBase.FieldValueTotal property. The ValueTotal property provides the appearance settings for the totals of individual fields. If a Pivot Grid Control is painted in the WindowsXP, Office2003 or Skin style, the appearance settings used to paint the background of totals are ignored.

Field headers can also be custom painted using the PivotGridControl.CustomDrawFieldValue event.
