Remarks

The AsyncOperationCompleted event occurs after an asynchronous operation has been completed, and before a custom procedure specified by the AsyncCompletedHandler delegate is started (if implemented).

Note

For certain asynchronous operations, Pivot Grid Control automatically performs specific actions to handle operation results after the background thread is completed. The AsyncOperationCompleted event is raised before these actions are started, so that the pivot grid’s state at the moment of executing the event handler may be invalid. Therefore, it is not safe to perform operations that depend on the current pivot grid’s settings, data or layout in the AsyncOperationCompleted event handler.

The PivotGridControl.AsyncOperationStarting event occurs before an asynchronous operation is started.
