Remarks

The appearance settings provided by the FieldValueTotal property are also used to paint Grand Total headers if the appearance settings provided by the PivotGridAppearancesBase.FieldValueGrandTotal property are not specified.

These settings can be overridden by individual fields. Use the field’s PivotGridFieldAppearances.ValueTotal property for this purpose. If the Pivot Grid Control is painted in the WindowsXP, Office2003 or Skin style, the appearance settings used to paint the background of Total headers are ignored.

If the appearance settings provided by the FieldValueTotal property are not specified, the Total headers are painted using the settings provided by the PivotGridAppearancesBase.FieldValue property.

Total headers can also be custom painted using the PivotGridControl.CustomDrawFieldValue event.
