Remarks

The Painter object provides the DrawObject method that allows you to paint the current field header using the default painting mechanism. To implement default element painting, you need to pass the event’s PivotCustomDrawFieldHeaderEventArgs.Info parameter to the DrawObject method. Alternatively, you can create your own HeaderObjectInfoArgs object, customize it, and pass it to the method.

Note

If you try to access the Painter property while an asynchronous operation is being performed, an exception will be thrown. When the operation is in progress, use the PivotCustomDrawFieldHeaderThreadSafeEventArgs.Painter property exposed by a thread-safe event parameter instead. To access the thread-safe event parameter, use the PivotCustomDrawFieldHeaderEventArgs.ThreadSafeArgs property. To determine whether an asynchronous operation is being performed, use the pivot grid’s IThreadSafeAccessible.IsAsyncInProgress property. For more information, see Asynchronous Mode.
