| Default | The default behavior determined by controls. For an XtraTabControl, the orientation of the tab headers depends upon the XtraTabControl.HeaderLocation property’s value. If the tab headers are located across the bottom or top of the tab control, they are horizontally oriented. Otherwise, if the tab headers are located along the left or right side of the tab control, they are vertically oriented. For a TabbedView in a DocumentManager, the Default option is equivalent to Horizontal. |

Remarks
Use the HeaderOrientation property to specify whether tab headers are oriented horizontally or vertically.
The group’s inherited BaseLayoutItem.TextLocation property specifies whether tab headers are displayed along the group’s top, bottom, left or right edge. If the HeaderOrientation property is set to Default and tab headers are displayed along the top or bottom edge, tab headers are oriented horizontally. If tab headers are displayed along the left or right edge, they are oriented vertically.
