GridViewOptionsFind Properties

Contains options controlling the view and behavior settings of the Find Panel.

Name	Description
AllowFindPanel	Gets or sets whether the Find Panel can be invoked by an end-user. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
AllowMruItems	Gets or sets whether the Find Panel keeps the history of recently used search items. Users can access and re-apply these items from a dropdown list. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
AlwaysVisible	Gets or sets whether the Find Panel is always visible. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
Behavior	Gets or sets whether records that do not match the query are hidden. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
ClearFindOnClose	Gets or sets whether the Find Panel‘s search (filter) string is cleared when the Find Panel is hidden. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
Condition	Gets or sets the condition according to which the Data Grid searches for the string entered into the Find Panel. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
FindDelay	Gets or sets the delay in milliseconds, after which a data search is initiated (if automatic search mode is active). Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
FindFilterColumns	Gets or sets the field names against which searches are performed by the Find Panel. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
FindMode	Gets or sets whether a user must press Enter/click the “Find” button to start a search, or it starts automatically after a certain delay (the ColumnViewOptionsFind.FindDelay property). Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
FindNullPrompt	Gets or sets the text displayed grayed out when the search box is empty. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
FindPanelLocation	Gets or sets whether the Find Panel is a separate panel, or is embedded into Group Panel.
HighlightFindResults	Gets or sets whether the search string is highlighted within located records. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
ParserKind	If a text entered into the Find Panel contains whitespaces, the Panel splits this string into separate logical blocks. The ParserKind setting specifies how these blocks are combined into a search query. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
SearchInPreview	Gets or sets whether a search should also be performed against Preview Sections.
ShowClearButton	Gets or sets whether the Clear button is displayed within the Find Panel. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
ShowCloseButton	Gets or sets whether the close (‘x’) button is displayed within the Find Panel. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
ShowFindButton	Gets or sets whether the Find button is displayed within the Find Panel. This property is not in effect if the Find Panel is integrated in the group header (see the GridViewOptionsFind.FindPanelLocation property). Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
ShowSearchNavButtons	Gets or sets whether the Previous and Next buttons are displayed allowing users to navigate through search results. Inherited from ColumnViewOptionsFind.
