Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Grid
Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v19.1.dll
Declaration
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
rowHandle | Int32 | An integer value specifying the tested row by its handle. |
Returns
Type | Description |
---|---|
Boolean | true if the specified row is a group row; otherwise, false. |
Remarks
Please refer to the Rows topic for more information on row handles and the Grouping topic for details on the grouping feature.
You can also use the GridView.IsMasterRow and ColumnView.IsNewItemRow methods to determine the row type.
Note
Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the IsGroupRow member must not be invoked for these Views. The IsGroupRow member can only be used with real Views that are displayed within the Grid Control. The real Views with which an end-user interacts at runtime can be accessed using the following methods.
- GridControl.MainView - returns the top most View in a grid;
- GridControl.FocusedView - returns the focused View;
- GridControl.DefaultView - returns the currently maximized View;
- the sender parameter of View specific events;
- GridView.GetDetailView - returns a detail clone View for a specific master row.
