GridView.IsDataRow(Int32) Method
Indicates whether the specified row is a regular data row.
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Grid
Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v18.2.dll
Declaration
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
rowHandle | Int32 | An integer value specifying the row to test by its handle. |
Returns
Type | Description |
---|---|
Boolean | true if the specified row is a regular data row; otherwise, false. |
Remarks
This method returns true for regular data rows. The false value is returned in the following cases:
- the rowHandle parameter refers to a group row;
- the rowHandle parameter refers to the Auto Filter Row or New Item Row/Card;
- the specified row handle is invalid (the GridView.IsValidRowHandle method returns false).
Note
Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the IsDataRow member must not be invoked for these Views. The IsDataRow member can only be used with real Views that are displayed within the Grid Control. The real Views with which an end-user interacts at runtime can be accessed using the following methods.
- GridControl.MainView - returns the top most View in a grid;
- GridControl.FocusedView - returns the focused View;
- GridControl.DefaultView - returns the currently maximized View;
- the sender parameter of View specific events;
- GridView.GetDetailView - returns a detail clone View for a specific master row.
