GridView.CanCollapseMasterRowEx(Int32, Int32) Method
Indicates whether a master row can be collapsed.
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Grid
Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v18.2.dll
Declaration
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
rowHandle | Int32 | An integer value identifying the master row by its handle. |
relationIndex | Int32 | A zero-based integer specifying the index of the relationship in the data source. |
Returns
Type | Description |
---|---|
Boolean | true if the master row can be collapsed; otherwise, false. |
Remarks
This member supports the grid control’s internal infrastructure and is not intended to be used from your code.
The method returns false if the master row is collapsed already. Otherwise, the method raises the GridView.MasterRowCollapsing event to determine whether collapsing is allowed.
Note
Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the CanCollapseMasterRowEx member must not be invoked for these Views. The CanCollapseMasterRowEx member can only be used with real Views that are displayed within the Grid Control. The real Views with which an end-user interacts at runtime can be accessed using the following methods.
- GridControl.MainView - returns the top most View in a grid;
- GridControl.FocusedView - returns the focused View;
- GridControl.DefaultView - returns the currently maximized View;
- the sender parameter of View specific events;
- GridView.GetDetailView - returns a detail clone View for a specific master row.
