Property Value

DefaultBoolean	**Default**	True if a smooth animation is used when sorting the data; False if not; Default uses the WindowsFormsSettings.AnimationMode global setting.

Available values:

True	Corresponds to a Boolean value of true.
False	Corresponds to a Boolean value of false.
Default	The value is determined by the current object’s parent object setting (e.g., a control setting).

Remarks

Use the AllowSortAnimation property to explicitly specify whether a smooth animation is used when sorting is applied to the Grid View. If the AllowSortAnimation property is set to Default, the animation is enabled if the WindowsFormsSettings.AnimationMode global setting is set to EnableAll, and disabled otherwise.

Note

Smooth animation effects are disabled if:

• if conditional formatiing is enabled;
• if Data Grid is in master-detail mode.
