Event Data

The Layout event's data class is EventArgs.

Remarks

When changing column width or row height, performing grouping or other actions affecting the size and position of view elements, the View’s layout changes. As a result, the Layout event occurs. This event also fires each time the layout is restored as a result of the BaseView.RestoreLayoutFromRegistry, BaseView.RestoreLayoutFromStream or the BaseView.RestoreLayoutFromXml method call.

Handle this event to perform actions in response to layout modifications.
