BaseView.IsDraggingState Property

Gets a value indicating whether a View element is currently being dragged.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Base

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v19.2.dll

Declaration

[Browsable(false)]
public virtual bool IsDraggingState { get; }

Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

false always.

Remarks

The IsDraggingState property indicates whether the end-user is dragging a View element. Since the BaseView class serves as the base for View classes and has no visual representation, its IsDraggingState property simply returns false. Descendants override this property as required.

Note

Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the IsDraggingState member must not be invoked for these Views. The IsDraggingState member can only be used with real Views that are displayed within the Grid Control. The real Views with which an end-user interacts at runtime can be accessed using the following methods.
