| Default | The default border adorning effect, applied as follows: For the XtraForm, a shadow is displayed in the “McSkin” skin. No adorning effect is applied in other skins. For the RibbonForm, a shadow is displayed in the following skins: “Office 2013”, “Office 2013 Dark Gray”, “Office 2013 Light Gray”, and “McSkin”. No adorning effect is applied in other skins. |

Remarks
The FormBorderEffect property allows you to apply a shadow and glow effects to the form’s border.
Border effects are not applied when the form uses the system border style. This takes place in the following cases:
- You call the WindowsFormsSettings.DisableFormSkins method, which disables title bar and border skinning, and enables the system border style.
- You set the form’s ControlBox property to false and the Text property to an empty string. Nevertheless, the border effects are applied in this case if you set the FormBorderStyle property to None.
