TextEdit.Select(Int32, Int32) Method

Selects the specified number of characters in the text box starting from the point specified.

Parameters

start Int32

An integer value specifying the selection’s start point in the text box.

length Int32

An integer value specifying the number of characters to select in the text box.

Remarks

This method enables you to select the specified amount of text starting from the point specified within the control. This can be useful when it is necessary to select only part of the specified editor’s content when an editor receives focus.

To select all text within the text box, use the TextEdit.SelectAll method.
