RepositoryItemTimeEdit.Assign(RepositoryItem) Method

Copies settings of the specified repository item to the current one.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraEditors.Repository

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraEditors.v19.2.dll

Declaration

public override void Assign(
    RepositoryItem item
)

Parameters

Name Type Description
item RepositoryItem

A RepositoryItem object representing the source of the operation.

Remarks

The Assign method is used to copy public properties and event handlers assigned from the source repository item specified by the item parameter to the current RepositoryItemTimeEdit object. This makes it possible to have several time editors with the same behavior and look & feel. Note that the item parameter can represent any RepositoryItem-derived object, not only an object of the RepositoryItemTimeEdit type. The Assign method copies properties common to the source and the current repository item.

This method is used internally and typically you have no need to use it in your applications.
