Remarks
The TextEdit control can display a custom image at its edge. You can set or change the image in code using the RepositoryItemTextEdit.ContextImage property. The image can be changed using fade animation. If the AllowContextImageChangeAnimation property is set to Default, the behavior is controlled by the WindowsFormsSettings.AnimationMode global setting. If the global setting is set to EnableAll, the image is changed using animation. Otherwise, the animation is disabled. Use the AllowContextImageChangeAnimation property to override the global setting for the current TextEdit control, and explicitly specify whether the context image changed using animation.
For in-place editors (in Grid Control or Bars), animation effects are always disabled, regardless of the animation settings.
