Remarks
The RepositoryItemProgressBar class provides properties and events appropriate to progress bar controls (ProgressBarControl class objects). These settings can be accessed via the control’s ProgressBarControl.Properties property. Information contained within a RepositoryItemProgressBar object is enough to create a fully functional progress bar control.
The main settings introduced by the RepositoryItemProgressBar class include:
- maximum and minimum values that can be displayed (the RepositoryItemProgressBar.Maximum and RepositoryItemProgressBar.Minimum properties);
- availability and format of the text label indicating the current progress (the RepositoryItemProgressBar.PercentView and RepositoryItemBaseProgressBar.ShowTitle properties);
- the progress bar’s direction (the RepositoryItemBaseProgressBar.ProgressKind property);
- the bar’s appearance (the RepositoryItemBaseProgressBar.ProgressViewStyle, RepositoryItemBaseProgressBar.StartColor and RepositoryItemBaseProgressBar.EndColor properties).
You do not need to create repository items manually unless you have to create inplace editors for container controls (such as the XtraGrid).
