Remarks

A relative width is a value equal to or less than 1. If a Range Control displays all data in its entirety without zooming (the zoom factor, specified by the RangeControl.VisibleRangeScaleFactor property, is 1), the current visible range width is 1:

If data is zoomed by 2X, half of data is displayed within the Range Control’s viewport. In this case, the current visible range width is 0.5:

The VisibleRangeWidth and RangeControl.VisibleRangeScaleFactor values are linked by the following formula:

VisibleRangeWidth = 1/VisibleRangeScaleFactor.
