Remarks

If an end-user clicks the drop-down button of a node whose PopulateOnDemand property equals true, the RepositoryItemBreadCrumbEdit.QueryChildNodes event will occur. This event allows you to modify the BreadCrumbNode.ChildNodes collection of a node that caused the event. You can handle this event to dynamically populate your BreadCrumbNodes.
