Remarks

By default, the node’s BreadCrumbNode.Value is equal to its BreadCrumbNode.Caption. When a BreadCrumbEdit control is in Edit mode (see the RepositoryItemBreadCrumbEdit.BreadCrumbMode property), end-users have to type node values to navigate to these nodes. However, in Select mode, node captions are displayed. Thus, it’s recommended to keep this equivalence between the Value and Caption for the convenience of end-users.
