The BaseStyleControl class is the base for all DevExpress controls that cannot serve as container controls or inplace editors and supports a common mechanism used to manage control appearance, painting style and hint settings. Painting style and hint setting mechanisms are inherited from the BaseControl class. The BaseStyleControl class, in turn, introduces the BaseStyleControl.Appearance property which provides appearance settings such as background and foreground colors, font settings, content alignment, etc. used to paint the control.
