QueryShowPopupMenuEventArgs.BreakShowPopupMenu Property

Gets or sets whether or not the parent BarManager.QueryShowPopupMenu event should affect only the BarManager itself.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraBars

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraBars.v23.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

Declaration

[Browsable(false)]
[DefaultValue(true)]
[EditorBrowsable(EditorBrowsableState.Never)]
public bool BreakShowPopupMenu { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean true

true if the parent BarManager.QueryShowPopupMenu event should affect only the BarManager itself; otherwise, false.

Remarks

By default, the Bar Manager component manages all popup menus within the application. For this reason, if you handle the BarManager.QueryShowPopupMenu event and set its e.Cancel property to true, not only popup menus for the Bar Manager itself will be disabled, but other controls from the same form (user control) will be unable to process their MouseClick/MouseUp events and show their own menus. Setting the BreakShowPopupMenu property to true allows you to use the Cancel property more safely without affecting components other than the Bar Manager.
