ToolTipController.SetTitle(Control, String) Method

Sets a regular tooltip’s title for the specified control.

Parameters

control	Control	A control for which to set a regular tooltip’s title.
value	String	A string representing a regular tooltip’s title.

Remarks

Use the SetTitle method to specify a regular tooltip’s title for the specified control. The tooltip’s text can be specified using the DefaultToolTipController.SetToolTip method. The type of tooltips (regular or SuperToolTip objects) displayed for controls is specified by the ToolTipController.ToolTipType property.

To remove a regular tooltip’s title for a control, call SetTitle and set the value parameter to an empty string.

To get a regular tooltip’s title for a control, use the ToolTipController.GetTitle function.
