Example

Tip

A complete sample project is available in the DevExpress Code Examples database at http://www.devexpress.com/example=E2864.

This example demonstrates how to bind the TextEdit control on the custom in-place editor to the appointment subject, via the AppointmentInplaceEditorBase.Subject property.

<TextBlock  Grid.Row="0" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Text="Subject: "/>
<dxe:TextEdit Margin="0,0,0,4"
              Grid.Column="1"
              Text="{Binding Subject, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}"/>
