Specifies whether to display day headers in the Day or Work-Week view when appointments are grouped by resources or no grouping is applied.
Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.Drawing
Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.v18.2.dll
Declaration
Property Value
Type | Description |
---|---|
Boolean | true to display day headers; otherwise, false. |
Remarks
Important
You are viewing documentation for the legacy WPF Scheduler control. If you’re starting a new project, we strongly recommend that you use a new control declared in the DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduling namespace. If you decide to upgrade an existing project in order to switch to the updated scheduler control, see the Migration Guidelines document.
The ShowDayHeaders property can be used when the DayView or WorkWeekView is the current active view, and appointments are grouped by resources or no grouping is applied in the SchedulerControl.
To access the VisualDayViewResourcesBasedViewInfo class descendant for obtaining the value of the ShowDayHeaders property, you can use the SchedulerViewBase.VisualViewInfo property of the object returned by the SchedulerControl.ActiveView property. To set the ShowDayHeaders property value, handle the SchedulerControl.CustomizeVisualViewInfo event. Its parameter’s CustomizeVisualViewInfoEventArgs.VisualViewInfo property returns the VisualDayViewResourcesBasedViewInfo class descendant.
Example
This example demonstrates how to handle the SchedulerControl.CustomizeVisualViewInfo event to hide day headers and time ruler headers in the Scheduler Control when the Day View is currently active and the view is grouped by resources. To do this, set the VisualDayViewResourcesBasedViewInfo.ShowDayHeaders
and VisualDayViewResourcesBasedViewInfo.ShowTimeRulerHeader properties to false.

private void schedulerControl1_CustomizeVisualViewInfo(object sender, DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.CustomizeVisualViewInfoEventArgs e) {
// Determine whether the currently active view is the Day View and appointments are grouped by resource.
if (e.VisualViewInfo is VisualDayViewGroupByResource) {
VisualDayViewGroupByResource dayViewByResource = (VisualDayViewGroupByResource)e.VisualViewInfo;
// Hide day headers.
dayViewByResource.ShowDayHeaders = false;
// Hide time ruler headers.
dayViewByResource.ShowTimeRulerHeader = false;
}
}
