Gets or sets the data field to which an appointment’s Appointment.Subject property is bound.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.v18.2.dll

Declaration

public string Subject { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description
String

A String value that specifies the name of the bound data field.

Remarks

Important

You are viewing documentation for the legacy WPF Scheduler control. If you’re starting a new project, we strongly recommend that you use a new control declared in the DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduling namespace. If you decide to upgrade an existing project in order to switch to the updated scheduler control, see the Migration Guidelines document.

Use the Subject property to bind an appointment’s Appointment.Subject property to a data field. The data field is taken from the datasource specified by the DataSource property of the AppointmentStorage.

Example

This example demonstrates how to specify standard mappings for appointment properties via the AppointmentStorage.Mappings property.

<dxsch:SchedulerStorage.AppointmentStorage>
    <dxsch:AppointmentStorage>
        <dxsch:AppointmentStorage.Mappings>
            <dxsch:AppointmentMapping
                Start="StartTime"
                End="EndTime"
                AllDay="AllDay"
                Description="Description"
                Label="Label"
                Location="Location"
                Subject="Subject"
                RecurrenceInfo="RecurrenceInfo"
                ReminderInfo="ReminderInfo"
                Status="Status"
                Type="EventType"/>
        </dxsch:AppointmentStorage.Mappings>
    </dxsch:AppointmentStorage>
</dxsch:SchedulerStorage.AppointmentStorage>
