By default, a PivotGridControl allows you to use a built-in Customization Form invoked in a popup window. You can also create a standalone Customization Control that replicates the Customization Form but can be placed wherever required.
The FieldListControlBase class serves as the base class for standalone Customization Controls.
To create a standalone Customization Control for a pivot grid, do the following:
- create a PivotFieldListControl (for a simple Customization Form) or a PivotExcelFieldListControl (for an Excel-style Customization Form) instance;
- assign the PivotGridControl instance to the ColumnChooserControlBase.Owner property.
