If the EnableImmediatePosting property is set to true, the value is posted to a data source as it is being changed by an end user. Otherwise, the value is posted after moving focus from the edited cell.

The immediate posting functionality is not supported in the following scenarios:

• The Data Grid uses the CellEditTemplate.
• The Data Grid uses the CellTemplate with a direct EditValue binding in the inner editor.

If you need to enable immediate posting for specific columns, handle the GridViewBase.CellValueChanging event and call the PostEditor method to post an editor value manually.
