Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Editors
Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v20.2.dll
NuGet Packages: DevExpress.WindowsDesktop.Wpf.Core, DevExpress.Wpf.Core
Declaration
Property Value
Type | Description |
---|---|
Nullable<Decimal> | A Decimal value that specifies the maximum allowed value. |
Remarks
The minimum allowed value is specified using the SpinEdit.MinValue property. To specify the editor’s current value, use the BaseEdit.EditValue property.
If you try to set the BaseEdit.EditValue property to a new value that exceeds the SpinEdit.MinValue and MaxValue range, the editor functions as follows:
- the BaseEdit.EditValue property stores the last valid value,
- the editor behaves according to its BaseEdit.InvalidValueBehavior property value.
If the AllowRoundOutOfRangeValue property is set to true and a user inputs a value which is greater than the maximum allowed value, the edit value is automatically set to MaxValue. Otherwise, if the value entered by a user is less than the minimum allowed value, the edit value is set to SpinEdit.MinValue.
The AllowRoundOutOfRangeValue option is not in effect if the editor’s value is specified in code.
