Gets or sets a data field whose values are displayed in the editor’s text box. This is a dependency property.

Remarks

To bind the editor to a data source, use its ItemsSource property. The DisplayMember and TextMember properties specify the field names in a data source that supply display strings and item values, respectively.

When the TextMember property is defined, the AutoSuggestEdit‘s EditValue property returns the value from the data source field, specified by the TextMember property. When the TextMember property is not defined, the EditValue property returns the selected data object’s string representation.
