Remarks

To prevent a dock item from being restored from the closed (hidden) state, disable the BaseLayoutItem.AllowRestore option or handle the DockLayoutManager.DockItemRestoring event.

Closed items can be accessed via the DockLayoutManager.ClosedPanels collection. To close and restore an item in code, use the DockControllerBase.Close and DockController.Restore methods provided by the DockLayoutManager.DockController object.
