Gets or sets whether the current item is selected within any LayoutGroup. This is a dependency property.

Remarks

Within each LayoutGroup that represents its children as tabs, one of the children is selected. The IsSelectedItem property returns true if the current item is selected within any LayoutGroup.

In code, you can select a tab item via the IsSelectedItem, LayoutGroup.SelectedTabIndex property or LayoutController.Activate method.
