TabControlViewBase.RemoveTabItemsOnHiding Property

Gets or sets whether tab items are removed after being hidden. This is a dependency property.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Core

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v20.2.dll

public bool RemoveTabItemsOnHiding { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description

true if tab items are removed after being hidden; otherwise, false.

If the RemoveTabItemsOnHiding property is set to true, a tab item is removed after it was hidden by an end-user, or via the DXTabControl.HideTabItem method. If it is set to false, the tab item is not destroyed, and can be shown later. To learn more, see Showing and Hiding Tab Items.

To remove a tab item, use the DXTabControl.RemoveTabItem method.

Tab items cannot be removed when the tab control is data bound (the ItemsSource property is assigned). In this instance, calling the DXTabControl.RemoveTabItem method, or hiding a tab item with the RemoveTabItemsOnHiding property set to true throws an exception.
