The Series.LegendPointOptions property is obsolete now. Use the LegendTextPattern property instead.

Provides access to the settings which specify the type of information displayed in the chart’s legend, and its format.

Remarks

Use the LegendPointOptions property to specify the kind of information (arguments, values or both) and its format (prefix, suffix, separator, precision) to display in a chart’s legend. Note that by default, until the LegendPointOptions property is not set, legend point options are obtained from the Series.PointOptions property.
