PivotGridControl.OlapDataLoaded Event

Occurs after a pivot grid has been initialized and data has been loaded from an OLAP cube.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid.v14.2.dll

#Declaration

public event RoutedEventHandler OlapDataLoaded

#Event Data

The OlapDataLoaded event's handler receives an argument of the RoutedEventArgs type. The following properties provide information specific to this event:

Property Description
Handled Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route.
OriginalSource Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible Source adjustment by a parent class.
RoutedEvent Gets or sets the RoutedEvent associated with this RoutedEventArgs instance.
Source Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event.

#Remarks

In an OLAP mode, PivotGridControl loads data asynchronously, in a background thread. You cannot access a pivot grid from the main thread until all data is loaded.

If you bind a PivotGridControl to an OLAP cube in code, you can use a PivotGridControl.SetDataSourceAsync method overload that takes a delegate as the asyncCompleted parameter. This delegate notifies you when data is loaded.

Otherwise, if you perform data binding in XAML, use the OlapDataLoaded event to determine when data loading is completed.
