Remarks

The GroupDescription property is in effect if the NavBar control is bound to a data source via the NavBarControl.ItemsSource property. Use the GroupDescription property to specify the name of a data source field, by which values data source items should be grouped within the NavBar control. NavBar groups are implicitly generated (within the NavBarControl.Groups collection) based on the specified data field's values.
