Searching Rows

An end-user can easily locate information within the grid via the built-in Search Panel. At runtime, it can be invoked by pressing the CTRL+F shortcut.

End-users are not allowed to invoke and use the Search Panel if the DataViewBase.ShowSearchPanelMode property is set to ShowSearchPanelMode.Never.

Various options are available to control the display and behavior of the Search Panel. You can specify search columns, choose between automatic and manual search modes, optionally display control buttons, etc. To learn more, see Search Panel.
