Deployment

  • 2 minutes to read

This document describes which assemblies are required by applications that use the functionality of the DXPivotGrid Suite for Silverlight. Some of the assemblies are essential, while others that provide additional functionality can be optionally deployed, depending on your requirements.

Note that if you use other Developer Express components in your application, using and deploying them should comply with the corresponding EULA documents. For more details on licensing information and the redistribution policy of Developer Express, refer to Redistribution and Deployment.

#Redistributable Libraries

Below are the essential libraries required by applications that use the DXPivotGrid Suite. These libraries are considered to be redistributable under the DXPivotGrid's EULA and are intended for distribution by you to end-users of software applications you create.

Assembly Description
DevExpress.Data.v14.2.dll Contains basic data processing classes.
DevExpress.PivotGrid.v14.2.Core.dll Contains the base classes for all Pivot Grid components from DevExpress.
DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v14.2.dll Contains the bars and editors libraries, basic controls and utility classes.
DevExpress.Xpf.LayoutControl.v14.2.dll Contains the main components provided by the DXLayoutControl Suite.

DevExpress.Xpf.Printing.v14.2.dll Contains components and controls that provide the printing and exporting functionality supported by the DXPrinting Library.
DevExpress.Xpf.Mvvm.v14.2.dll Contains classes that support the MVVM design pattern.

#Non-Redistributable Libraries

Distributing any Developer Express design-time libraries ending with ".Design" (for instance, DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v14.2.Design.dll and DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid.v14.2.Design.dll) is strictly prohibited.

Please consult the EULA for additional up-to-the-minute information on which libraries, tools and executables are considered redistributable.
