Deployment

  • 2 minutes to read

This document describes assemblies required by applications that use the functionality of the DXScheduler Suite for Silverlight. Some of the assemblies are essential, while others (that provide additional functionality) can be optionally deployed, depending on your requirements.

If you use other Developer Express components in your application, using and deploying them should comply with the corresponding EULA documents. For further licensing information and the redistribution policy of Developer Express, refer to Redistribution and Deployment.

NOTE

Please consult our EULA for the complete and definitive list of redistributable DLLs.

#Required Libraries

Below are essential libraries that are required by applications that use the DXScheduler Suite for Silverlight. These libraries are considered redistributable under the DXScheduler's EULA, intended for distribution by you to end-users of software applications that you create.

Assembly Description
DevExpress.Data.v14.2.dll Contains classes implementing a data-layer for all DevExpress components for Silverlight.
DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v14.2.dll Contains DevExpress editors, bars and various utility classes for Silverlight.
DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.v14.2.dll Contains the SchedulerControl, together with additional controls available in the DXScheduler Suite.

By default, after the installation has been performed, these assemblies are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\DevExpress 14.2\Components\Bin\Silverlight.

#Non-Redistributable Libraries

Distributing any Developer Express design-time libraries ending with ".Design" (for instance, DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.v14.2.Design.dll) is strictly prohibited.

Please consult the EULA for additional up-to-the-minute information on which libraries, tools and executables are considered redistributable.
