Shape.ScaleX Property
Gets or sets the x-axis scale factor.
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraRichEdit.API.Native
Assembly: DevExpress.RichEdit.v18.2.Core.dll
Declaration
Property Value
Type | Description |
---|---|
Single | A positive Single value that is the scale factor. Default is 1. |
Remarks
You can use this property to stretch or shrink a shape horizontally.
The absolute value of a parameter is calculated before the assignment. So if a negative value is supplied to the ScaleX property, its absolute value is effectively used.
Values between 0 and 1 decrease the width of the shape; values greater than 1 increase the width. A value of 1 indicates that the object is not scaled in the x-direction.
The following code rotates text boxes and resizes floating pictures.
document.LoadDocument("FirstLook.docx", DevExpress.XtraRichEdit.DocumentFormat.OpenXml);
foreach (Shape s in document.Shapes)
{
// Rotate a text box and resize a floating picture.
if (s.TextBox == null)
{
s.ScaleX = 0.1f;
s.ScaleY = 0.1f;
}
else
{
s.RotationAngle = 45;
}
}
