IRangeProvider.GetColumnNameByIndex(Int32) Method

Returns the heading of the column with the specified index.

The zero-based index of the column whose heading should be returned.

#Returns

Type Description
String

The column’s heading in the A1 reference style. Null (Nothing in Visual Basic), if the specified index is negative or exceeds the last available index (a worksheet limits the number of columns to 16384).

#Remarks

Use the IRangeProvider.GetColumnIndexByName method to obtain the column’s index by its heading in the A1 reference style.
