Remarks

The Author property allows you to specify one of the predefined document properties, a full set of which is available by using the IWorkbook.DocumentProperties property. To specify the custom document properties, use the DocumentProperties.Custom property.

By default, the Author property is set automatically to the user name of the person who created the document.

To clear the Author property, set it to an empty string.

Important

The Author property string is limited in length to 255 characters.
