DefinedNameCollection.RemoveAt(Int32) Method

Removes the defined name at the specified index location from the current collection.

#Parameters

Name Type Description
index Int32

A zero-based integer specifying the index of the defined name to be removed. It should be non-negative and less than the number of elements in the collection.

#Remarks

Note that calling the RemoveAt method also disposes all elements removed from the collection.

To remove the specified DefinedName object from the collection, use the DefinedNameCollection.Remove method. To remove all defined names from the collection, use the DefinedNameCollection.Clear method.

Note

After you delete a defined name, all cells using that name will display the #NAME? error. After you delete a named cell or cell range, all cells using defined names that refer to the deleted cell or cell range will display the #REF! error.

To add a new defined name to the collection, use the DefinedNameCollection.Add method.
