XYDiagramDefaultPane

An XYDiagramDefaultPane object which represents the default pane of a chart.

Remarks

By default, a chart’s diagram displays a single default pane, which is represented by an XYDiagramDefaultPane object, and is accessible via the DefaultPane property.

To create a multi-pane chart, add XYDiagramPane objects to the XYDiagram2D.Panes collection, and assign them to the XYDiagramSeriesViewBase.Pane property of the required series.

Example

This example demonstrates how panes can be accessed and customized at runtime.

Assuming that there are two series of the line view type in the chart, in the following code, we create an additional pane, and assign the second series to it. In addition, a secondary axis is created and assigned to that series, and it is also visible in the additional pane.
