VisualRange Class

Contains the settings that define the range displayed by an axis.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraCharts

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraCharts.v21.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Charts

Declaration

public class VisualRange :
    Range

The following members return VisualRange objects:

Remarks

The VisualRange class contains visual range settings for an axis. The VisualRange class inherits properties and methods from the base Range class which define the common range settings of axes. See the Range class description for more information on the available main settings.

An object of the VisualRange type can be accessed via the AxisBase.VisualRange property of an axis, which in its turn is exposed by the XYDiagram.AxisX and XYDiagram.AxisY properties of the XYDiagram object.

Example

This example demonstrates how to use the AxisBase.VisualRange property to define the visible range of an axis, and the AxisBase.WholeRange property to define its whole range.

For more information on axis range, refer to Visual Ranges and Whole Ranges .
